ABOUT LAURA
Laura is a highly skilled associate attorney with a background in immigration law. She has been admitted to the California State Bar and currently practices Medical Malpractice Law. Laura brings a wealth of experience honed through her work in high-stakes legal environments. Throughout her career, Laura has held roles that highlight her ability to work effectively with high-profile clients and lead teams in many types of legal settings. EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND
Laura earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School. During her time in law school, Laura served as President of the Latino Law Students Association, where she championed resources and support for her community by organizing educational events and initiating one of the organization’s first scholarships. She was also appointed Student Vice Chair of the Mexican American Bar Association, contributing to admissions and equity and inclusion efforts. Laura remains actively engaged with her community, providing mentorship and support to emerging legal professionals.
Laura completed her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California, Berkeley. While at Berkeley, she established the first Latino student organization within the English Department, received UC Berkeley’s Leadership Award, and volunteered extensively within the local community. Her undergraduate accomplishments reflect her commitment to leadership, diversity, and academic excellence.
