About LAURA
Laura is a skilled litigator in multiple practice areas including medical malpractice, business/commercial litigation, corporate real estate/unlawful detainer, employment, civil rights, and public entity and has successfully defended clients in both State and Federal Courts. She also has extensive experience in corporate matters, including antitrust, contract, tax, and intellectual property law.
EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND
Laura received her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School and an LL.M in International Business Law at the University of Helsinki. Having studied and worked in both the U.S. and the E.U., Laura has in-depth knowledge of both common and civil law systems as well as the complex interaction between the two. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California. Additionally, Laura has completed the intensive professional training program in trial skills at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.

Currently, Laura is admitted to the State Bar of California and is a board member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel (ASCDC). She also belongs to the Hon. Joseph B. Campbell American Inn of Court, the San Bernardino County Bar Association, the International Bar Association, and the European Law Association. While in school, Laura served as the president of the International Justice Mission and as a board member for the International Law Students Association at the University of Helsinki. In her free time, Laura is a member and soloist with Legal Voices of the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic.
